Overview
City Angle ("the app") is published by Alwyn Ventures ("we", "us"). We designed the game to be privacy-friendly: there are no accounts and the game itself runs fully offline. By using City Angle you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Information we collect
Information you provide
We do not ask you to create an account or sign in, and we do not collect your name, email, contacts, photos, or precise location. The only information you provide directly is anything you choose to include if you email us for support.
Information stored on your device
Your game progress, stats, streak, and settings are stored only on your device and are not transmitted to us:
- Gameplay data kept on-device (streak, scores, stats, settings)
- Whether you have purchased "Remove Ads"
Information collected by advertising partners
In the free version, our advertising partner may collect device identifiers, coarse/approximate location, and usage data to show and measure ads. See "Third-party services" and "Advertising" below.
How we use information
The app uses on-device data to run the daily and weekly puzzles, maintain your streak and stats, remember your settings, and apply your "Remove Ads" purchase. Advertising partners use the data they collect to show and measure ads in the free version.
Data storage & retention
Your gameplay progress, streak, stats, and settings live only on your device. We do not operate servers that store your personal data. You can clear all on-device data at any time by deleting the app.
Third-party services
The free version of the app uses one third-party SDK, which may collect data as described in its own privacy policy:
- Google AdMob (advertising) — may collect device identifiers (including the IDFA when you allow tracking), coarse/approximate location, and usage data to show and measure ads. See Google's privacy policy.
The "Remove Ads" purchase is handled directly by Apple's App Store (StoreKit); we do not use a third-party purchase or paywall service.
Advertising
The free version of City Angle displays ads through Google AdMob. On first launch we ask permission to track via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, ads are still shown but are not personalized using the IDFA. You can remove ads entirely — and the related data collection — with the one-time "Remove Ads" in-app purchase.
Children's privacy
City Angle is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your rights
- You can decline tracking in the App Tracking Transparency prompt, or later in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- You can remove ads (and the related data collection) with the one-time "Remove Ads" purchase.
- You can clear all on-device data by deleting the app.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected here.
